Players starting the game as a White Mage receive an Onion Rod and a Scroll of Cure.

Armed with the most efficient recovery spells, White Mages (WHM) can ensure a party's survival in the most dire of situations. With the ability to utilize the most potent spells from the Cure, Regen, Raise, and Bar Spell families, White Mages are the premier healers in the game, and are nearly indispensable when forming a party.

Despite the gentle demeanor of their class, White Mages are far from inept in combat. If necessity dictates, White Mages may arm themselves with powerful hammers and durable shields in order to rain down punishment upon their enemies.

Group 1[]

  • Divine Seal Recast: Decreases recast time of Divine Seal by 20 seconds per level.
  • Cure Cast Time: Decreases cast time of all Cure spells by 4% per level.
  • Bar Spell Effect: Increases Bar Spell potency by 2 per level. Further more grants 2 element-specific Magic Defense Bonus per level to elemental Bar Spells.
  • Banish Effect: Grants +2 Magic Attack Bonus to the damage component of Banish spells and increases the duration of the specific damage taken resistance down effect on Undead monsters by 2 seconds per level.
  • Regen Spell Effect: Increases the amount of HP restored by all Regen spells by 1HP/tick per level.

Group 2[]

  • Martyr: Sacrifices 25% of the White Mage's HP to heal twice that amount to a party member. Each additional level increases the heal potency by 5%.
  • Devotion: Sacrifices 25% of the White Mage's HP to restore the same amount as MP to a party member. Each additional level increases the MP restoration by 5%.
  • Animus Solace: Increases the damage absorption of Afflatus Solace-enhanced Cure spell Stoneskin effects by +5 per level.
  • Animus Misery: Increases the maximum total damage stored under the effects of Afflatus Misery by 5% per level.

  • Asylum Effect: Increases magic evasion by 4 per rank while under the effects of Asylum.
  • Divine Seal Effect: Reduces the amount of enmity accrued by casting Cure spells by 3 per rank while under the effects of Divine Seal.
  • Magic Accuracy Bonus: Increases magic accuracy by 1 per rank.
  • Afflatus Solace Effect: Increases potency of Cure by 2 per rank while under the effects of Afflatus Solace.
  • Afflatus Misery Effect: Afflatus Misery active: Increases Auspice's magic damage bonus to Banish by 2 per rank. Increases Auspice's physical accuracy bonus when missing target and additional damage by 1 per rank.
  • Divine Caress Duration: Increases the duration of strong resistance to status ailments dispelled by 2 seconds per rank while under the effects of Divine Caress.
  • Sacrosanctity Effect: Increases the minimum value of magic defense that weakens over time by 1 per rank while under the effects of Sacrosanctity.
  • Regen Duration: Increases the duration of Regen by 3 seconds per rank.
  • Bar Spell Effect: Increases potency of Bar spells by 2 per rank.
