Notes:

• Spawned by trading a San d'Orian Carrot to a Rabbit Footprint in Uleguerand Range during the full moon.
• Selene's Bow is not a 100% drop.
• The Rabbit Footprint is located at K-11 in the wooded area, and moves around every 5-10 seconds between various spots in that locale (It will pop 15 minutes after the Full Moon phase starts and last until the end of the phase).
• The Rabbit Footprint respawns 15 minutes after the NM is killed.
• Note that the Black Coney also spawns this way, but during the new moon.
• Around 8500HP
• Special Attacks: Wild Carrot (TP-based special attack that cures the NM for over 1000HP), goes off at 300% TP for most of the fight but goes off faster at 100% TP when the NM has 20% or less health.
• Susceptible to Sleep and Stun, which can be used to stop the Wild Carrot ability.
• Killable by: 2 characters at level 75, soloable by 75 BLM/RDM or RDM/BLM using a Sleep/Nuke technique. Resting and converting during the fight. Chainspell not needed. Soloable by Thf/Nin, using subtle blow and sleep/sneak-attack at lower %'s in order to prevent wild carrot spam.
• Does not link with the Polar Hares around the spawn point, however raptors do roam the area.
• If you trade a carrot and by chance timing the footprint moves after trade, the White Coney will appear unclaimed where the footprint has moved.

Historical Background

A coney is a rabbit, especially a European rabbit. It is considered an obsolete word for rabbit. Coney Island, NYC, NY, is named after coney (rabbit). The Dutch name for the island was Konijn Eiland (Rabbit Island), and the name was carried over when translated when the British took over. The island got its name because it was overrun with rabbits until all the open space was developed.
