Walkthrough

The Moogle requires three items to complete repair of the Jeuno Rent-a-Room.

Obtain a Sturdy metal strip.

This can be obtained randomly through mining in any original or Rise of the Zilart area.
Return the Sturdy metal strip to the Inconspicuous Door for another cutscene.

Obtain a piece of Rugged Tree Bark.

This can be obtained randomly through logging in any original or Rise of the Zilart area (excluding Buburimu Peninsula, see discussion) . The Moogle's statement about how to obtain this item is incorrect.
Return the Rugged Tree Bark to the Inconspicuous Door for another cutscene.

Obtain a Savory Lamb Roast.

This can be obtained randomly through harvesting in any original or Rise of the Zilart area.
Return the Savory Lamb Roast to the Inconspicuous Door for another cutscene.

Notes

It can take several times, and many broken HELM items, to get the key items. Take extra equipment.
- You can obtain the key item on a failed HELM, or on a tool break.
You must have the mission flagged before obtaining the key items.
- You can obtain the items out of order, and all at once, even before the Moogle asks for the bark or the lamb roast.
You can obtain the key item even if your inventory is full, though you will still break tools.
- It's to your advantage to have a full inventory since the point will not despawn and you can keep trying to get the key item from the same point.

The following zones have an abundance of points for you to mine, log, or harvest in a relatively small area: Zeruhn Mines, Ghelsba Outpost, and Giddeus, respectively.
Reobtaining the items and talking to Squintrox Dryeyes will allow you to obtain the Blue coral key, a Treasure Coffer (Tenshodo) Key.

You can get 2 in basically one area, Ghelsba Outpost for the logging and the Yughott Grotto for the mining, went to Giddeus for the harvesting.
