- Vrikodara: Another name for the Pandavan King Bhima, described in the Mahabharata. The name means 'wolf bellied' or 'voracious eater'. (Wikipedia)
- Jupon: Middle English, from Middle French. A close-fitting sleeveless jacket, descending below the hips, worn over armour.
