Noble Mold and Drop Rates

I've reverted your edits to Noble Mold's drop rate, since they seemed a little strange to me; you lowered the number of drops with your first edit (changed 4/17 to 1/25), then raised the number of kills by 5 and drops by 8 in the second edit, both edits without comments. Since people have been known to intentionally and unintentionally corrupt drop rate data, I heired on the safe side and reverted the changes.

If you'd like to add your results again, please read the Drop Rate Policy and leave a comment (small box at the bottom of the editing window) when you do so. Thanks for understanding. ~ Karuberu 23:19, 6 July 2008 (UTC)

I'm sorry if my action was insulting; I wasn't sure if you had made a mistake or what. If you had left a comment like "whoops" or "correcting mistake/adding new drops" then I wouldn't have had any doubt, but, since you didn't, I decided to be safe and revert/leave you a message. I don't personally know you, so there's really no way to tell in cases like this. ~ Karuberu 05:17, 7 July 2008 (UTC)

I apologize if I sounded harsh then, unfortuantely I have gotten rid of my notes regarding my recent campings of this NM so I will just leave the drop rate as such and move on to other things. In the future I will remember to add more information should errors like this occur again. LiennaOfShiva 15:07, 9 July 2008 (UTC)

Crawler Egg

Per the mob page for Berry Grub, Crawler Eggs do not drop. I've removed it from the zone page. Wanted to save you any more work :)

All relevant drop data will be located on the mob's own page, not on the zone page... FYI --Leuq 17:01, 15 July 2008 (UTC)

What does that mean for FFXIclopedia?

We've copied the FFXIclopedia wiki content over to Gamerescape in order to seed and expand upon the wiki over there. FFXIclopedia will, of course, remain at Wikia and remain open and available for editing. To be clear, while there have been a few rather public departures from Wikia in the past few months, they are not a factor in our decision. The reality is that Wikia provides a great service for wikis and was a fine home for the past few years. They allow anyone with one click to try their hand at starting a wiki and a community. That is invaluable and, looking at Wikia's growth, has served them well. In light of some the recent public departures, we feel it was important to make this clear.

We are making this announcement because (i) we are truly excited about what we're launching; and (ii) you, the community, should know that the founders and some of the current admins and moderators will not be here, but will be developing the FFXI wiki/forums over at gamerescape.

What else is over at Gamerescape?

In addition to the content from the FFXIclopedia wiki, we have integrated Eorzeapedia - so all of your FFXI and FFXIV information is on the same site, just a click or two away. Also, in addition to FFXI and FFXIV, we've launched WakfuEscape, a platform dedicated to the upcoming Wakfu MMO (distributed by Square Enix). Complete with news platforms, forums and podcasts - we're continuing in our efforts to provide a site where you can get all of your gaming information without having to jump from site to site.

We've learned a lot since 2004 when we started FFXIclopedia, a lot of which is reflected in our new FFXIV and Wakfu wikis. We remain nothing more than a group of gamers at heart who enjoy playing games and helping the community develop a resource for those games. We're looking forward to continuing that effort over at GamerEscape.com. We hope to see all of you there.

PS. For those that have an Eorzeapedia.com account - your log-in credentials should work at any GamerEscape.com site.
