Making a mule is quite a simple matter but beware that like me you don't one day then look at your mule & think that they would make a perfect [insert job here !].
I chose a Taru because lets face it for a mages jobs there is no other race that can match them for mp stats. Yes I know that you can get gear/items these days & increase stats for all races but you know what I mean. Ok having said this am I the only one who really gets annoyed when I see a Taru with exactly the same gear & weapons as I doing double the damage when on a DD job ?! My own view is that while I love to see a Taru mage it is wrong for them to be DD & then make me look & feel uttterly useless. Yes, I am jealous & yes I am bitter & twisted & yes when my own ickle wickle Taru is all growed up he will be the finest mage in Vana'diel but a DD, never ever ! [errrr, ok sure . . .] Which is why all those left over Nin, Mnk, Thf etc seals will all remain in my mule's Mog House purely because I hate throwing anything useful away & not because at some future date I have any intentions of ever using them to make my sweet dear boy the meanest hardest DD ever seen in FFXI & have him piss off other lanky elvaans. Honest . . .
PS. Take this with a pinch of salt, I'm still waiting for SoA update to allow me to login & was bored.
