Historical Background[]
Ulagohvsdi Tlugvi means "Autumn Tree" in Cherokee. The association between Ninja and Autumn may not seem apparent at first, but Ninja's 2-hour, Mijin Gakure is an explosion which consumes all the life of the Ninja in a brilliant flash. Autumn is the season where tree's foliage changes into brilliant colors, yellows, golds, oranges, bright reds, vermillion, burgundy, purple (whatever the colors of the tree's most abundant accessory pigments are when chlorophyll breaks down), which hangs around for a few weeks before the tree enters into winter dormancy. Also, the colors of Ninjutsu animation (yellow, red, black) are frequently colors associated with autumn. Also, just as a tree does not die in autumn, it only goes dormant, the Ninja doesn't "die" in the traditional sense of death (e.g. NIN loses 0XP) after using Mijin Gakure (and in the case of a monster, it doesn't die at all after using Mijin Gakure).
