Walkthrough

• Talk to Milazahn for Cut Scene.
• Talk to Cacaroon (G-11) in Aht Urhgan Whitegate for cutscene.
• Trade 1000g for an additional cutscene.
  • If you have Started the quest Rat Race and not traded Cacaroon and Imperial Bronze Piece yet, you will have to before he will accept the trade of 1000g. Jado818 01:43, March 4, 2010 (UTC)
• Go to Wajaom Woodlands (D-12) and zone into Mamook.
  • You do not need to enter from Wajaom Woodlands D-12. It is much quicker and safer to take Nyzul Isle Staging Point to Alzadaal Undersea Ruins and exit into Bhaflau Thickets at the colibri merit camp. Then enter Mamook at G-6. From there it is a short run to the Viscous Liquid at E-8. Also there are no Poroggos on this path and the only mob that is true sight/sound is the NM Dragonscaled Bugaal Ja who is easy to avoid because he has such a large roam path. • Go to (E-8) and check the Viscous Liquid for a cutscene. Note that the Poroggo are true sound aggro. You can tag the Viscous Liquid that's on the way to (E-8) for a costume that will keep the Poroggos from aggroing you, but you will still need Sneak up to avoid Suhur Mas, which aggro by sound and aren't fooled by the costume.
• Check the Viscous Liquid at (E-8) again to spawn Mamool Ja (NM).
  • Mamool Ja (NM) has about 4400 Hit Points.
  • A BST can easily solo the NM using one of the Brei (Slimes) just to the south.
  • A RDM or BLM can solo the NM using their highest Blizzard spell and Sleep. As a RDM75, it only took 8 Blizzard IIIs.
  • A PLD/NIN can solo this with little difficulty.
  • A Summoner can easily solo the NM using Fenrir.
  • Easy kill solo by SAM/NIN, open with Sekkanoki and a Skillchain. Meditate and go again.
  • A THF/NIN with capped evasion can solo the NM.
  • A 90BLU/NIN can intimidate the NM while soloing
• Kill it and examine the Viscous Liquid again for another cutscene. (If you don't examine the Viscous Liquid again after killing the NM, you will have to kill the NM again when you come back.)
• Return to Milazahn in Aht Urhgan Whitegate for the final cutscene.
