Spawn Conditions Companions/Summons
  • Spawned by resting on top of it with a Sapphire Demilune AbyssiteKey Item in your possession. The abyssite will shatter upon pop. Near conflux #05.
  • N/A
Special Abilities Passive Traits
  • Manafont: Causes Tristitia to chain-cast magic and temporarily grants it a higher degree of Fast Cast and the ability to cast Burst II. Unclear what causes Tristitia to use Manafont; it may not be used at all.
  • Uses all standard Phuabo attacks.
Physical Qualities Magical Qualities
  • Casts Thunder V, Thundaga III, Thundaga IV, and Stun. Also casts Burst II while under the effect of Manafont.
  • Stun is AoE.
  • Fairly high degree of magic attack power.
    • Groups spawning Tristitia should take care not to let the popper get killed before the party can engage it; it is not uncommon for poppers to be targeted by Thundaga IV right away, which casts quickly enough such that it usually cannot be outran, dealing upward to 2000-2500 damage to unprotected characters and often instant death to those with lower HP, resulting in a lost abyssite.
Further Notes
  • Susceptible to Paralyze, Slow, Blind, Gravity
  • When it uses Manafont it can spam Burst II at a high degree of Fast Cast.
  • Exceedingly advisable to stun/have stunner on standby for Thundaga III/IV.
