As many as 16 spires can be active and they do not despawn unless your party leaves and returns to the boss's lair.

- Setting the Stage: Uses every 3 minutes after being engaged. 30,000 AOE damage, divided evenly among affected targets. Can be absorbed by Mana Wall with sufficient gear/job point bonuses. Can not be mitigated by effects like Scherzo/Migawari. Perfect Defense is effective. Elemental Sforzo/Liement are not.[3]. Setting the Stage's total damage can be reduced by repeatedly inflicting light damage to Triboulex.[4] It seems to require as many as 60 hits of light elemental damage to reduce the total damage to 0.[5]
