Solo Strategies[]
-99THF/DNC: 2 for 3. Forgot how I did it the first time, however second time since first was "easy" I just jumped in there. Tidal Wave hit me for 1.5k and I dropped (1.3k HP only). This was on Firesday. However, third time I buffed up on the Grounds Tome just outside and Tidal Wave hit me for 611... and that was on watersday :) So I suggest grabbing the shell for sure. My evasion was only 376 (barely C+) and I don't think one physical attack hit me. Suggest Haste Samba just to speed things up. Fight time a little over 6 minutes. Peetave 00:51, October 4, 2012 (UTC)
2015-07-30 Solo kill of Leviathan on Windsday as a L94 THF/DNC with Prot/Shell/Regen from book. (Forgot haste). No food, Aby - La Theine gear and sparks weapon. It took me 12 minutes, and tidal wave hit me for 400-ish? Never any real danger, just slow and steady, curing Waltz and drain samba with the odd Evisc thrown in.
My Dagger skill was 334, evasion in the 250s

Red Mage Solo Win[]
- Can be soloed by a Red Mage without any gear except for two swords.
Monk Solo Win[]
- The fight can be soloed by a Monk level 75 without using hundred-fists or any job abilities, ending with full HP.
