Walkthrough[]
Trial: Have the prescribed avatar deal the finishing blow to a set number of experience-yielding monsters.
Objective: 200 monsters of the beetle family.
Avatar: Ifrit.
Equipment: Teiwaz must be equipped.
- Starmite beetles in Toraimarai Canal are best for this. There all super easy EP at lv 99.
- Helm beetles in Crawler's Nest are ideal for this.
- A far superior camp is in Sauromugue Champaign (S). There are 2 Goblin Guerrilla using Goblin's Beetles just outside of the Garlaige Citadel (S) exit through Banishing Gate 3. One is wandering in the block of J-9. The second one is wandering east to west in I-9, make sure not to fall getting this one since it's a one way trip. The other beetles do link, so make sure Ifrit kills the pet before you release to shed all aggro.
Important Note[]
- Due to a glitch, Flaming Crush will not count as killing with Ifrit for this trial. If you have not put any merits into Meteor Strike, now is a good time if possible. Otherwise, you are best off opening with Flaming Crush and then finishing with Ifrit's Assaulting.
- Flaming Crush will now work as a kill shot as of the September 2010 update.
