Walkthrough[]
Deal the finishing blow with Mercy Stroke 300 times to experience-yielding Bird with Mandau DMG:+3 equipped in your main weapon slot to upgrade to Mandau (80).
Good Location:
- Abyssea - Misareaux: Gore Bats, Coastal Colibri, Frigatebird (north of Conflux #4), Overking Apkallu (north of Conflux #00)
- Note: With the inclusion of the Seekers of Adoulin expansion pack, Marjami Ravine has Stryx which have a Records of Eminence quest for level 96+ players who want to earn sparks and capacity points while doing this quest. Also consider setting the ROE for Light Crystals and Giant Bird Feathers since Stryx drop both.
- Take the Waypoint to Marjami Ravine - Frontier Bivouac #4 then go nearby at F-7 / F-8 on east side of river and D-8 / E-9 to find Stryx (Fastest Route, Boulder Reive might need clearing).
- Abyssea - Altepa Target: Dune Cockatrice
