Walkthrough[]
- Obtain initial quest via Magian Moogle in Ru'Lude Gardens (H-5)
- Trade Brand d'arcon to Magian Moogle and initiate quest.
- Kill 200 monsters of Amorphs family.
- Note: All kills must be made during Fire weather or Firesday
- Note: All members in party (within experience points range at time of kill) will receive credit for kills who have the Brand d'arcon equipped.
- Once 200 kills have been made travel back to Ru'Lude Gardens.
- Trade the Brand d'arcon to the Magian Moogle to complete quest and receive Brand d'arcon.

- A good place to do this is Bostaunieux Oubliette a group can easily kill 75-120+ depending on the size of the group.
- Also Worms in Kuftal Tunnel work well, some form of sneak is prefered because of the crabs/spiders/cactuar. There are worms on almost every ramp on the top floor of the zone. Also although Rare, Fire weather CAN appear in this zone, if you are lucky this would allow extremely quick completion. More commonly there is wind weather here so beware casting around the elementals which unfortunately do crowd the worms, If nessecesary these are also fairly easily dispatched.
- The worms in Zeruhn Mines work just as well if not better for just a good Firesday camp. They are plentiful, go down fast, and there is no risk of linking and agro in this zone - great for solo farming. Parties and alliances form frequently and can help add worm kills. However, there is no fire weather.
- Another good area for this trial is the Dodomeki in Ifrit's Cauldron. The lower half of map 7 is where you'll find them. Due to the high likelihood of agro from nearby mobs, this camp is only recommended in the presence of fire weather. Otherwise, Bostaunieux Oubliette or Zeruhn Mines is faster for Firesday camping.
- Also possible are Sand Digger and Sand Eater in the Quicksand Caves. This can be a good option when fire weather is forecast for Altepa and nowhere else. It is strongly recommended to complete the quest Open Sesame to reach the Sand Digger.
