Walkthrough

• Anyone with access to Fei'Yin can help with this fight. A Mark of Seed is required for each party member seeking mission completion.
  • Note: You can still enter the battlefield without a Mark of Seed but you will not be rewarded with an Ivory Key upon mission completion. Players who have not completed other missions can therefore participate.
  • If you have completed this mission already it is possible to participate in the fight, however if you need to re-obtain the Mark of Seed to receive another Ivory Key.
• Click the burning circle once for a Cutscene, then again to enter a battlefield.
  • The battlefield is capped, and you do not lose experience if you fail.
  • Buff are removed upon entering
  • Tractor does NOT work in this Arena
  • Enemies are: Seed Orc (WAR), Seed Yagudo (WHM), Seed Quadav (RDM), and Seed Goblin (THF).
  • A full party of level 75s is strongly recommended in order to beat this fight.
• If you fail the fight, another Mark of Seed will need to be obtained.

Enemy Abilities

• Seed Orc (WAR) uses standard Orc abilities.
  • Uses a special ability called Phantasmal Dance, causes AoE damage, Knockback, and Bind.

• Seed Yagudo (WHM) has extended White Mage spells (Protectra IV, Shellra IV, Haste, etc...)
  • Uses a special ability called Feather Maelstrom, which causes Amnesia and Bio.

• Seed Quadav (RDM) uses standard Red Mage spells (Poison II, Gravity, Slow, etc..)
  • Uses a special ability called Thunderous Yowl, which gives AoE Curse and Plague.

• Seed Goblin (THF) seems to use Thief skills also. Randomly teleports behind a player, forcing all players attacking him to put away their weapons and manually re-target.
  • He will also Sneak Attack, Goblin Rush, and Bomb Toss you (175-200 Damage)
  • Also has an ability called Saucepan which removes any existing food effect and replaces it with its own, giving -10 to all attributes. (lasts for about 30 min)

• All mobs use specials corresponding with their type.

• Yagudo, Orc, Goblin, and Quadav share hate, whoever has hate they will attack. If anyone pulls hate off the tank all the mobs will attack whoever pulls the hate.

• Mobs have low damage and defense; damage reduction will help greatly.
• These mobs are all immune to black magic Sleep (even with the use of Elemental Seal)
  • Light-based sleep works but may resist and has short duration.
  • All mobs are susceptible to Gravity.
