Zoriboh: Player name, I need your help again. Zoriboh: Sanctia hasn't come back from Tavnazia, and her father and I are worried. Zoriboh: She must still be looking for Goldmane, the bounty hunter I told you about. Zoriboh: I want you to follow Sanctia and keep her out of trouble until she either finds him or gives up on her search. What do you say? I'll do it. I don't have time for babysitting. Zoriboh: I know she's a handful, but you'll be well paid for your efforts. Zoriboh: Oh, and give this to Sanctia when you find her. Zoriboh: Chelvadurai wanted her to have it for her birthday. Zoriboh: Bring her back safe. What do you say? I'll do it. I don't have time for babysitting. Zoriboh: Too busy with your adventures to help anyone, huh?

Let's get back to ground that's, well, on the ground, kupopo. Novice Moogle: This is the territory of the Wyrmking. Even a moogle like me can't match the power of Bahamut. Sanctia: No. I have to find Goldmane, no matter what. Sanctia: I'm not leaving until I find some clues. Novice Moogle: Kupopo? Novice Moogle: Look, Sanctia, it's the adventurer that was searching for you, kupopo! Novice Moogle: Have you come to make sure she's okay again, kupopo? Sanctia: I see where this is going. Sanctia: Let's see here... This is from Naval Recruit Training Officer Vladinek, of the Bastokan navy. Sanctia: That's it! Goldmane is under the protection of the Bastokan navy! Sanctia: Since the navy is always at sea, no one can ever find him! Sanctia: Right, so it's off to Bastok. Novice Moogle: Just a... Hey, wait for me, kupopopopopo! Novice Moogle: What about the package the adventurer brought, kupopo!?

Vladinek: I am Naval Recruit Training Officer Vladinek. What can I do for you? Sanctia: Great! I finally found you! Sanctia: You again? Why do you keep following me? Sanctia: Whatever. I have to speak with Mister Vladinek. Vladinek: Is there something I can help you with, young lady? Sanctia: Yes. My name is Sanctia. I am searching for the bounty hunter Goldmane to ask him something very important. Vladinek: Goldmane? Sanctia: Yes. I have reason to believe he is being sheltered by the Bastokan navy. Sanctia: And that he is paying for that protection with Atarefaunet's bounty. Vladinek: Ahahaha. What an amusing idea. Vladinek: The Bastokan navy is not for rent, my dear. Vladinek: And I don't know anyone who could stand to live on one of our battleships for twenty years! Sanctia: But... But the letter had your name... Vladinek: I see. That old letter is the cause of all this. Vladinek: Let me explain. I wrote that letter to Goldmane concerning another bounty hunter. Sanctia: You mean Goldmane's partner, Ismenios Cutsilver? Vladinek: Correct. Ismenios was the son of Praefactus Leonnel of the Bastokan navy, and a former student of mine. Vladinek: Ismenios graduated from the Naval Recruit Training Barracks with the highest honors and the potential to become a talented commander. Vladinek: Then one day, apparently unfulfilled by naval life, he declared he would leave Praefactus Leonnel's command to become a bounty hunter. Vladinek: Praefactus Leonnel made no effort to track down his son. Vladinek: But I had swung a sword alongside Leonnel in the Great War, and had gotten to know him well. I could tell he was hurting inside. Vladinek: Along with Goldmane's cooperation, I convinced Ismenios that he should return to Bastok. Novice Moogle: No matter the situation, parents always worry for their children, kupopo. Sanctia: ... Vladinek: But do you know the whole story, young lady? Vladinek: Before his journey home, Ismenios Cutsilver lost his life during the capture of Atarefaunet. Vladinek: The Musketeer investigation of the incident showed that Goldmane was responsible for Ismenios's death. Vladinek: Praefactus Leonnel would never stoop to anything so juvenile as revenge. But he has never forgiven Goldmane. Vladinek: So you see, there is no way the man you seek would be under the protection of the Bastokan navy. Sanctia: Then where on Vana'diel could Goldmane be hiding...? Vladinek: Well, now that you mention it... Vladinek: There have been rumors of the remaining thugs of Atarefaunet's Band sniffing around for your elusive bounty hunter. Vladinek: Whispers in dark corners have them on the trail of the owner of Purgonorgo Isle, one of the islands found in Bibiki Bay. Sanctia: Purgonorgo Isle... Sanctia: Thank you so much, Naval Officer Training Recruit Vladinek! Novice Moogle: Training Recruit, kupopo...!? Sanctia!

Novice Moogle: I guess we're safe, then! A weird-looking Tarutaru helped Sanctia up, and carried her over there, kupopo! Novice Moogle: I don't have any medicine to treat her wounds. You wouldn't happen to have any, would you, kupopo? Novice Moogle: Sanctia! Player name was carrying medicine for your injuries. It was in the package that your father sent, kupopo! Sanctia: The package from my father...? Sanctia: Urrr... I've made a mess of everything. Please forgive me for all this trouble, Player name. Novice Moogle: Are you feeling okay, kupopo? Sanctia: Much better now, thanks. Sanctia: Wow, that Goldmane is ready for anything... I guess he has been hiding here for twenty years. Sanctia: But next time, I'm gonna make him listen to what I have to say... Novice Moogle: You're not seriously thinking of going back there!? That bounty hunter goes too far, kupopo! My nickname comes from the golden down on the neck of my old chocobo, Silver Comet. Vukki-Chebukki: You see, when I jumped into the saddle you couldn't see me for the feathers... Vukki-Chebukki: Try taking the path of the adventurer. Live for the sake of others, and the rewards that accompany their gratitude will eventually bring you both material and spiritual wealth. Vukki-Chebukki: Quitting the bounty hunter life allowed me to live this long and witness such incredible miracles. Vukki-Chebukki: Let me get you started. Here's a reward for protecting me from one of the members of Atarefaunet's Band. Sanctia: I've never seen a weapon like this before...or so much money! Novice Moogle: Make sure you share that with Player name! Novice Moogle: Even half that amount will go a long way to paying back your father's loans, kupopo! Sanctia: Okay, I guess Player name deserves it. Sanctia: Thank y--hey! He's gone! Novice Moogle: He's awfully fast for such a little fellow, kupopo... Sanctia: Oh well. I guess I don't have what it takes to become a bounty hunter. Novice Moogle: So you've finally given up on that crazy idea, kupopo? Sanctia: Yep! I'm gonna be an adventurer instead! Player name, you have to make me your apprentice! Novice Moogle: Kupopo!? Accept Sanctia as your apprentice? I could use an extra hand. You've got to be kidding me... Sanctia: Yay! Thank you, Player name! Sanctia: As my teacher, you should head back to Rabao and let Zoriboh and my father know that you're gonna take care of me. Oh, and please take this money with you. Sanctia: Me and my moogle are off to find high adventure! Accept Sanctia as your apprentice? I could use an extra hand. You've got to be kidding me... Sanctia: You're no fun! Sanctia: Fine, please go back and give Zoriboh and my father a message: Sanctia: I'm making this moogle my teacher and heading off to find high adventure! Zoriboh: Little Sanctia has become an adventurer!? Zoriboh: So Goldmane convinced her that was the best path... Well, he'd be about the only person she'd listen to. Zoriboh: By the way, did you remember to give Sanctia the package from her father? Chelvadurai: Mister Zoriboh! Zoriboh: Chelvadurai, we were just talking about you. The adventurer we hired has returned. Now, about Sanctia... Chelvadurai: She's become an adventurer! And this package is for me...? Chelvadurai: There's a letter inside.
