Matthias quests

After finishing The Unfinished Waltz, you must zone and wait until the next game day before starting this quest.

Walkthrough[]

  1. (Upper Jeuno G-7) Talk to Laila as a Lv.50+ Dancer.
  2. Zone into Jugner Forest (S) for a cutscene.
  3. (Jugner Forest (S) I-5) Click the Glowing Pebbles for cutscene.
    • The Shrouded Piper asks you to bring him a block of Yagudo Glue.
    • You must approach the ??? from the northeast, near the zone to Batallia Downs (S), due to a fence not marked on the in-game map.
      • You may also use the Campaign warp to the Fortification and head to (I-5) using the rock bridge that is a dead end after dropping off on the main road, but still have to go around to the Batallia Downs (S) path to get to there.
    • Yagudo Glue is dropped by Bard-type Yagudo in the past. Yagudo Pipers are the lowest-level enemies that drop the glue, and can be found right outside the entrance to Giddeus in West Sarutabaruta (S) in 3 spawn locations. A much larger concentration of these monsters is in Castle Oztroja (S) but they are levels 77-79, so take precautions.
      • You do not need to be on Dancer for the Yagudo Glue to drop.
      • For the next step, you must be on Dancer to complete the remainder of the quest.
  4. (Jugner Forest (S) I-5) Trade the Yagudo Glue to the Glowing Pebbles in Jugner Forest (S) at (I-5).
  5. (Upper Jeuno G-7) Speak with Laila again to receive Dancer's Tights.
