Walkthrough

La Theine Plateau
  • Quest Conflict: If you have the quest A Timely Visit active, you may be unable to attain the proper dialogue in La Theine Plateau from certain NPCs. You may have to complete that quest before taking on this mission.
  • Precaution: If you are of a low level, you may want to bring a few Silent Oils to prevent aggro from funguars, as you will be passing them 3 times.
  • Talk to a San d'Orian Gate Guard to accept the mission.
    • If your rank bar is empty, trading 1 crystal is enough to enable this mission.
    • 12 crystals will max out the rank 2 bar (this might be outdated info now)
    • If playing on a 2005 era private server, it takes 12 crystals to max out the rank 2 bar.
  • Go to La Theine Plateau. Talk to Galaihaurat at the southern part of (E-6).
  • Then head to (F-6) (east side of the canyon) and talk to the other NPCs listed below as you go down and head towards the (F-7) entrance to Ordelle's Cave.
  • In Ordelle's Caves, follow the left wall and talk to Ruillont hiding in a small pond.
  • Backtrack to La Theine Plateau. One of three NPCs will give you a Bronze Sword
  • Return to Ruillont and trade him the Bronze Sword.
  • Backtrack to La Theine Plateau. Talk to Vicorpasse (F-6) to receive a Key ItemRescue Training Certificate.
    • Vicorpasse is the first NPC you see when you get to the bottom of the canyon.
  • Return to San d'Oria and speak to a San d'Orian Gate Guard to complete the mission.
    • There is now a Survival Guide just inside Ordelle Cave. You can easily use it to return to Northern San d’Oria if you had already activated the Guide there.
