Kuftal Tunnel

NOTES

• You will not be able to flag this quest if you already have a Weapon Skill quest in your quest log.
• You might have to speak with Jaucribaix two times if you have started but not finished A Thief in Norg!?
• You will only be able to flag this quest from rezoning and speaking to Jaucribaix again if The Sacred Katana is not finished.
• You must be on SAM 71 or higher to flag the quest.

Walkthrough

• Talk to Jaucribaix in Norg who will give you the Tachi of Trials and the Weapon Training Guide (key item).
• Use the Tachi of Trials until the latent effect disappears.

• How to remove the latent effect:

• You must perform Weapon Skills and Skillchains on monsters that con Easy Prey or higher.
• Weapon Skills performed while under Level Sync will count.
• You receive 1 point for opening/soloing a weaponskill, 2 points for closing a Lv.1 Skillchain, 3 points for closing a Lv.2 Skillchain and 5 points for closing a level 3 skillchain.
• You must accumulate 300 total points.
• The latent effect will dissappear regardless of whether you unequip or not. The effect given will go away, eg. ice +10 will be in effect until weapon is finished, the ice +10 will go away when the latent is broken.

• Once you no longer receive the latent effect bonus, head back to Norg and trade the Tachi of Trials back to Jaucribaix, who will take the weapon from you and give you a Map to the Annals of Truth (key item) and tell you to head to Kuftal Tunnel.
• Once in Kuftal Tunnel go to L-7 on the map to the right and click the ??? to spawn the NM named Kettenkaefer.
• Once the NM is dead, re-examine the ??? to obtain the Annals of Truth (key item).
• Bring this back to Jaucribaix for your reward.
