Notes:
- Spawned by trading a Shocking Whisker to the ??? at (G-6).
- Uses Blaster, Chaotic Eye, Mortal Blast and Blink of Peril.
- Appears to have a slight TP Regain effect that increases in potency as HP falls.
- Mortal Blast is an instant KO, but can be avoided by turning around.
- There is a very small window of time to turn away when Tefenet is readying Mortal Blast, tanks need to be on their toes and fight with the target lock off.
- Mortal Blast can be stunned using the spell, did not test other methods.
- Blink of Peril will reset the enmity of the player it hits and will lower them to critical HP, similar to Throat Stab from a Tonberry. This is a gaze attack and as such can be negated by turning away. This is especially important towards the end of the fight as the TP gain will allow back-to-back TP moves.
- Highly recommend two tanks incase one is K.O'd by Mortal Blast.
- Melee need to turn away if Tefenet suddenly looks their way.
History
In Egyptian mythology, Tefnet was often represented as a lioness and was thus connected with other leonine goddesses as the Eye of Ra.
