Every V I've rolled has given the entire party (in range) their 2hours back yet it says that it'll only recharge some. Am I just getting really lucky or should the page be changed? --Nodrak 06:34, March 4, 2010 (UTC)

Assuming this section works exactly as stated, I've run a test scenario with the specified parameters (i.e. reroll on 1 or 2) and it tends to match my statistical calculations. Namely, the odds of a 1 or 2 are each 1:18, and the odds of 3-6 are each 2:9. This test was run using a C++ program using a million iterations. I got about 55,000 1s and 2s, and about 222,000 3s, 4s, 5s, and 6s. -- Pandora Xero Is Not A Bot (talk) 19:30, 21 April 2021 (UTC)

Update: Same program was run over 1 billion iterations: same result. 5.55% each 1 and 2, 22.22% each 3, 4, 5, and 6. I am not inclined to release my code publicly, not because I dislike licensing code, but because it is such a simple program - 17 lines, in fact. You might get it in fewer lines, but not in C++. -- Pandora Xero Is Not A Bot (talk) 20:41, 21 April 2021 (UTC)

2HR Restores

Just now rolled a IV, with NO 2hr restoration. For now, (since I, too, have rolled a IV WITH 2hr restoration), I can only guess that 2hr restoration is not related to the number rolled. I'm changing that, for now. --Noname1122 15:15, 7 May 2006 (PDT)

Remember that numbers are mirrored when you do Wild Card, maybe your IV with 2hr restoration was indeed a VI (it shows up at IV as soon as you use WC, then turns and becomes a VI) --Cycloptux 16:28, February 7, 2010 (UTC)
I was doing Shooting Fish BCNM and had two CORs 2hour me so we could get it done faster. First time rolled a 6 and got my Astral Flow back and full MP. Second time they rolled a 4 and no Astral Flow back. I'm think you can only gain effects of one Wild Card per X amount of time. I'm guessing every two hours. Chernabog 23:17, 27 June 2006 (PDT)

5 and 6 have always been 2 hour restore for me. I'm 99% sure I've done Wildcard (2 hour reset) > revitalizer (reset my 2 hour) > Wildcard (2 hour reset) in Nyzul Isle, but I'll report back the next time it happens. I doubt there's a limit on the 2 hour's effect, otherwise revitalizers and such would be worthless. 2 hour is a 2 hour, regardless of how many times you use it. Will report back when I have definite proof

However, I'd like to know about rolling a 5. It's listed SOME 2 hours. I've never had it do "some". 5 + 6 is always ALL 2 hours. Anyone verify? Putting verification tag. frameRATE

Just used it and rolled a 5. Reset the 2hr ability for a BRD, BLM, and MNK. (These were the only players in the AoE of it so the only one that were eligible as wel) It also said "All of (player)'s abilities are recharged". Next line said "(Player) regains MP". Noone noticed how much MP was restored however. Shazam 05:23, 22 October 2008 (UTC)

Restored 2HR with 3?!

Last night I thought I rolled a 3 with wild card. I thought I saw a 3, and my party members also thought it was a 3. However, all of their job abilities including 2hr were restored, and their MP was also restored 100%, as if I rolled a 6. I don't know whether we all saw it wrong, there was a glitch, or SE changed something. --Loeyuue 17:45, December 21, 2009 (UTC)

V on Wildcard

Every V I've rolled has given the entire party (in range) their 2hours back yet it says that it'll only recharge some. Am I just getting really lucky or should the page be changed? --Nodrak 06:34, March 4, 2010 (UTC)
