Alzadaal Undersea Ruins and Empyreal Paradox cutscenes maybe optional or only necessary under certain circumstances. Just got the 3rd cutscene (Windurst Woods in my case) after visiting the other two locations and getting nothing. Instructions say, but not getting expected cutscenes

The instructions say:

   Enter Alzadaal Undersea Ruins for a cutscene.
   Enter Empyreal Paradox for a cutscene.
   Placeholder for Rhapsodies of Vana'diel conclusion.

The mission log says I'm (Ramrat on Ragnarok) on the mission, but when I enter Alzadaal Undersea Ruins via either a teleport or via Caedarva Mire a cutscene doesn't occur. I'm going to have my Dad try next. Anyone else gotten this far and know how to trigger the cutscene OR will it only become active with the next release of missions? --IBHalliwell (talk) 01:21, August 24, 2015 (UTC) (Ramrat using my Dad's account)

OK, I got the cutscene with Volto Oscuro talking about Odin and gathering darkness. I checked my Son's log and he didn't get the cutscene (even using my system, which is the one I used). Any thoughts on how to resolve this issue for my Son (Ramrat on Ragnarok)? Thanks!

I can't prove it yet but I bet it has something to do with ToAU Mission progress. The cutscene I got for the end of the last mission did NOT have Nashmeira in it at all, but I checked on YouTube and saw someone else do the CS and she is there, and much of the dialog is different. I am currently on Aht Urhgan Mission 27: Misplaced Nobility and Nashmeira is missing in action. Given that this has mattered in previous RoV missions, I'm going to guess I need to go find her before I can proceed.

Got the first cutscene, but not the second (Empyreal Paradox upon entry).

I just went to get the second cutscene (upon entry of the Empyreal Paradox), but didn't get it. I came via the Home Point crystal via Bastok Mines, used the device to enter the Empyreal Paradox and expected to see the cutscene, but didn't. Is this how / when it is suppose to occur?

I did get the first cutscene (which Ramrat didn't get) in the Alzadaal Undersea Ruins. Hopefully, SE will resolve this with the next release of missions. Anyone else willing / able to tell us your experience, please? --IBHalliwell (talk) 01:52, August 24, 2015 (UTC)
