Moved these comments over to discussion since it's not quest pertinent just misc. info:
- Can be a fairly rare drop, taking over 2 hours of kills to get, even with Treasure Hunter I.
- Took 1.5 hours to drop with TH3, however the Yagudo Pipers were no match for a 75 THF.
- Took about 30 minutes to drop without Treasure Hunter. Yagudo Pipers were no match for 75 PUP.
- Received on my 16th kill, with TH3. The Yagudo Pipers were no match for a 75 THF.
- Three of those dropped within 1h with TH3 in Sauromunge Champaign [S], when killing Yagudos for the 108-Knot Quipu.
- Took about 5 minutes to drop as BLU75/THF37. Drop on second kill. It's just a matter of luck.
- First kill drop for 73WHM/23NIN and 75WHM/37BLM (<3~Dippy)
- Drop 1/2 with /THF near Giddeus (S)
- Drop after the 8th Yagudo Piper in West Sarutabaruta (S) with 75SMN/37WHM. Easy kill there.
- Very easy to farm Pipers near Giddeus (S) as 75 COR/DNC. Probably no match for most 75 jobs, just takes a while to drop. EddGilgamesh 13:16, 17 August 2008 (UTC)

- Zoned into Jugner Forest [S] after talking to Laila on my 72WHM/BLM and got the CS, so apparently you DON'T have to be on dnc when zoning in.
65 is too low![]
I was told I (65DNC/NIN) could take these guys for my DNC AF quest (it's my main), so I ran on foot for 45 minutes all the way out here only to realize they check as DC. Unfortunately, most of these comments are from people who were LV75 when they did the quest. A safe recommendation of level for soloing it would be helpful. --Calliste-Siren 19:30, August 19, 2011 (UTC)
Soloed as 65DNC/32THF, got 300 tp beforehand, challenging, but no real danger, got it on first try
