It does not seem to me that there is any way to see which NM's you have this false? Is there a way to check and see which ones you've already done in game?

  • Talk to Rakuru-Rakoru again and you'll see a list of all the NMs. The ones already recorded are marked with an "x":

Based on my reading, it would not be correct to say that the term means "Good job". Technically speaking, it is a noun. The fact that someone would shout "Jerk!" does not mean that the term is necessarily an expression or exclamation, after all. Also, though most people will not use it in polite conversation in such a manner, in informal or derogatory fashion, ご苦労さん can certainly be used to indicate a person's naivety or foolishness for having been duped into completing an onerous task.

Several places I've seen on the Internet seem to source the phrasal translation from martial arts, and generally speaking, the domesticated martial arts' applications of Asian vocabularies are rudimentary at best. As a basic example, 待って does not mean "I yield" or anything remotely similar, though some would believe otherwise. --Cutriss 22:18, 12 January 2009 (UTC)
