Does this, as well as Tension Spring, affect Ranged Attack, or just melee attack? - Hiachi 10:06, 16 September 2006 (EDT)
I did some testing today that showed that yes, Tension Spring and Tension Spring II affect Ranged Attack as well as normal Attack. Easy to replicate: just attack some mobs with sharpshot puppet with no maneuvers on and no attachments, then add the tension springs and use no maneuvers again. Damage goes up. Also test by putting up several fire maneuvers with no attachments (to get baseline with the STR boost from the maneuvers), then repeat with fire maneuvers and the tension springs. Ranged damage goes up again. Lastly, the link that is alreayd on the main page showing testing also shows the ranged damage going up with an assortment of attachments. Though less controlled, it also hints that the Tension Springs affect ranged attack. I'm not sure of the best way to edit the main page to show this, so I'll just make a simple edit and add it as a note. - Sauruven
