Dual Wield and Shamo

The DAT viewer lists Shamo as non-rare. Does wielding two of these give double the TP bonus? -Tsanth 15:29, 26 May 2006 (PDT)

It occurred to me that since Martial Anelace/Dagger doesn't give the TP bonus when wielded in the offhand, it follows that an offhand Shamo would likewise not give the TP bonus. Yay for logic. -Tsanth 15:51, 27 May 2006 (PDT)

TP% cap

Since it adds 100% to the TP number used to calculate the damage, will it calculate with higher than 300% TP, or is that the cap? --Karl1982 23:05, 30 March 2008 (UTC)

It gives you an additional 100TP. I do not know why the wording uses % but the information is correct. I do not believe there is a % increase involved.Ringthree 14:56, 7 July 2009 (UTC)

Its listed as a percent because TP is a percent value, use <tp> in game it will report your TP as a percent value. So adding 100% TP to say 150% makes 250%. --Leane 02:50, September 17, 2009 (UTC)

Should probably change the wording of this article away from 'augment weaponskills' and 'augment the secondary effects' because Augmenting is now a game term with a completely unrelated meaning. Just came up on google while searching for info on a specific item plus augments, and was kinda worthless. --Ranzear 19:21, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

The term "augment" has been used on equipment to mean things other than the Augments system for a long, long time (mythic weapons, BST relic gear, etc.).--Anthoron T/ C 03:43, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
