Does this allow you to dual wield? --Gahoo 15:43, 13 October 2006 (EDT)

No. It just enhances the Dual Wield effect if you already have it... I use this on my THF to enhance my Dual Wielding, but if I dont sub NIN I can't equip a second weapon. --Nynaeve 15:52, 13 October 2006 (EDT)

I think this should be stated plainly on the article. Other items that "Enhance" traits can give traits a player doesn't have. Most common are killer traits, but someone not completely familiar with game mechanics might not know that all "Enhance" don't work the same.--Guilt 04:17, 12 September 2007 (CDT)

Why is it necessary to point out two-handed weapons? Does Dual Wield itself have an effect on them? --Toksyuryel 17:28, 7 December 2007 (UTC)

Does anyone have any data on the TP loss granted from the "Enhances Dual Wield" trait? I'm thinking of trading in my Knight's Earring since I don't use anymore. This earring doesn't seem that great compared to Bushinomimi, so thought I'd ask.--Dwolfwood 15:26, 30 July 2008 (UTC)

Dual Wield won't reduce your TP gain overall, persay, though it will reduce your gain per hit.

If you are subjobbing Ninja, your Delay Reduction will go from 15% to 20%, which is approximately 6% less TP per hit. If your main job is Ninja, your Delay Reduction will go from 30% to 35%, which is approximately 7% less TP per hit. --Taeria 20:53, 30 July 2008 (UTC)

Note that Taeria is talking % based of what you make. If you get 10% a hit, you will get 7% off that or -.7 tp a hit. It basically gives dps like 5% haste does but you don't get the benefit of TPS. BlueFire 21:08, 1 September 2008 (UTC)
