I wonder if this ring combined with a Fisherman's Belt is a viable or equal alternative to that of using an Albatross Ring. --Zatnyckatel 14:02, November 11, 2009 (UTC)

Got this Ring with the Maze Rune 117 (Saltwater) rune, as well as a Pirate's Chart. I believe that the Heron Ring and Brigand's Chart. As for the above post, I was unable to reel in any Gugrusaurus within time with the Seagull Ring and Guild Support alone... Definately needed an Albatross. May be possible with the Heron ring, but idk. --Aemora 16:31, November 22, 2009 (UTC)

After about 45 runs, I finally obtained my Seagull Ring, only fishing in the freshwater setup with Lost and Found (rune 94) on my tabula. Heron Ring seems much more frequent in drops. Albatross Ring + Seagull Ring makes Gugurusaurus and Lik extremely easy to fish up in time. Seagull Ring can be obtained in both freshwater and saltwater setups. --Infotank 16:09, November 23, 2009 (UTC)

What are the effects of this ring compared to Penguin Ring? From what i can gather these from the descriptions these 2 rings seem to do the same thing, but since i have neither i have no way to tell which of the 2 would be better or if theyre the same.Ragrush 08:06, June 5, 2010 (UTC)

Seagull ring gives the same stamina depletion effect as penguin ring. The only difference is that penguin ring has an additional effect of allowing the rod to stay in the left/right positions slightly longer than normal, to allow for easier stamina depletion. --Knightsaysni38 17:39, July 15, 2010 (UTC)

Penguin and Seagull working together? is it possible? one by air and the other by sea?
