When my Son clicks on the door, he's told by the NPC next to it that our leader has yet to return. This is after the August update. The mission log says "Ring My Bell" is the current mission. Suggestions. Ideas. Please!

What he gets is: Comitiolus : Ol' sea dog, have ya heard anythin' 'bout where this stoic warrior guy "Tenzen" is? Comitiolus : 'Fraid I can't let ya see our leader until he comes along, what with all this Escha hullabaloo goin' on.

Mission wise he's on:

  • Nation: Rank 10 (No current missions)
  • Zilart: Awakening
  • CoP: Garden of Antiquity
  • Treasures: Shield of Diplomacy
  • Wings: Cait Sith
  • Seekers: An Aimless Journey
  • Rhapsodies: Ring My Bell

Update: A mule we have was able to get "Ring My Bell," while on Distant Beliefs (CoP 2-3). Thus at some point between CoP 2-3 and 8-1 one loses the ability to get "Ring My Bell." We confirmed fully completing the Dawn mission does allow one to start "Ring My Bell." It is NOT clear at what point one loses the ability to start "Ring My Bell." It might be at the point one moves from CoP chapter 7 to 8, but at this time those who know aren't saying (at least not here). --IBHalliwell (talk) 18:15, August 7, 2015 (UTC)

Allegiance Change resets RoV back to 1-2-1[]

Hello,

I was talking to an acquaintance who said he found the game reset his Rhapsodies of Vana'diel missions after he changed his (nation) allegiance. Before the August 2015 update, he had completed all available Rhapsodies of Vana'diel missions, change his allegiance, and when he went to do "Ring My Bell" discovered his mission log had him at 1-2-1. He still had all of the Key Items and Alter Egos granted by the Rhapsodies of Vana'diel missions up to the August 2015 update.

It is not clear if the issue is only for those in a similar situation (before the August 2015 update) or will affect anyone who changes allegiance before ending the Rhapsodies of Vana'diel missions or until fixed by Square Enix. --IBHalliwell (talk) 20:20, August 7, 2015 (UTC)

Option select[]

When I was in the cutscene, I was given a choice between two things to say at the time. I had just seen a vision of a girl who said "Delkfutt's Tower..." Or something. The two options were - "I saw a girl just now..." and - "I'm at a loss for words."

Forgive me if I am wrong about the exact wording, but I just exited the cutscene and my mind is strange. I chose the first option, and it leads them to Delkfutt's Tower. I don't know if this will help anyone, or if it even was needed, but here you go.
