Welcome to the new "bird" camp. Did this with an alliance starting with 18 people and down to 11. EXP was 20K in 90 minutes. Very easy to camp them. They are non-linking and non-aggro. Don't need a tank for this.--Yuusaku 11:19, July 4, 2010 (UTC)

An alliance I'm in right now is claiming that these will never give ruby light, no matter how many times you kill them with WSs. I'd not heard this prior to this group though, and have had several PTs on them. Are they full of crap, or can others back this up? --Kyrie 09:40, August 4, 2010 (UTC)

I can confirm the above claim. Pachypodium's do not inherently drop Ruby Light, no matter how many WS kills you make. Ruby Light can be found in chests following their defeat, though. This specific mob seems to have an almost assured drop rate on Azure Light, and a questionable (30-40%? Lower?) drop rate on Pearlescent Light. --CronixHades

Aggressive?

Is Pachypodium really aggressive (A)? I don't recall a single aggro. What was is 'AA' anyway? --FFXI-Itazura 00:15, August 7, 2010 (UTC)

Don't recall "AA" ever being used... Perhaps they meant A)lliance A)ggressive? As in they share/build alliance hate, or something along those lines? I haven't noticed anything while camping them before but i'll test around with them and see if I can't figure out what they might mean. -Adding a Verification tag on it for now- AnimeAficianado 08:07, August 8, 2010 (UTC)

Absolutely do NOT agro. Our key master in this alliance is lv 41 and he seems to be doing ok.

they make amber light or just amber and pearlescent can be done w/o red chest?
