LVL 119 JSE Weapons[]

I just completed Waking Dreams phantom gem on normal and I am still unable to trade for JSE 119 weapons. Not sure what went wrong exactly, or if there is another prerequisite, but trading the appropriate items to Oboro does nothing and he still tells me to "exit his line of sight". Kinda wish I didn't blow all that gil to get the mats for this dagger. Asdfqwertyouip (talk) 23:19, July 13, 2015 (UTC)

Trial 3467 implies . .[]

Trial 3467 implies one can upgrade the final level 99 weapon to 119 using Oboro, but the weapon is from the Trial of the Magians and not the Relic Weapons, Mythic Weapons, or Empyrean Weapons path. Can someone help clarify what the upgrade information for Trial 3467 means. --IBHalliwell (talk) 08:47, August 30, 2015 (UTC)

@IBHalliwell I might be misunderstanding your question but from what I understand Hvergelmir (99) indeed is the Staff Empyrean Weapon also known as "Full Magian Weapons". The Trial 3467 text implies that Hvergelmir (99) can be upgraded to 119 via Oboro. The tricky part to these weapons is that they also can be enhanced at level 99 doing the next magian trial consisting of turning in 3000 Riftdross adding the Afterglow effect to the weapon. It should be noted that the magian trial bestowing Afterglow can also be completed on the level 119 version. --Exavion (talk) 19:57, August 31, 2015 (UTC)

@Asdfqwertyouip It is possible that Square-Enix left out the coding for the newer to grant eligibility for creating a JSE weapon. In which case it should be reported as a bug. I know this is an old discussion but if Waking Dreams or any of the other Avatar battlefields are not granting eligibility with Oboro then it needs to be confirmed so the main page can be edited to exclude that mission.--Exavion (talk) 19:57, August 31, 2015 (UTC)

Just completed RoV and wondering[]

A friend said there was a way to augment JSE weapons after completing RoV, but I can't find anything on this topic. Is it possible to augment JSE weapons?

Thanks! :-) --IBHalliwell (talk) 01:31, July 9, 2016 (UTC)
