Store 3 merit points as in having accumulated and spent at least 3, or you need 3 more unspent points? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Ambyr-Asura (talkcontribs).

I would guess you just need to have at least 3 Merit Points when you trade the seals to it. --Sore wa sore, kore wa kore... 21:16, June 21, 2010 (UTC)
You need 3 unspent points- They are consumed for the limit break. Tahngarthortalk-contribs 02:31, June 22, 2010 (UTC)

How was this info obtained? Maintenance is still going on... --Jhubsch 21:11, June 21, 2010 (UTC)

I think it was on-line for a bit and some players were able to try it before they extended the maintenance. --Sore wa sore, kore wa kore... 21:16, June 21, 2010 (UTC)
it's very easy, when you able to download the update (before maintenance ends) you can .dat hack the files you are downloading to get the info, is why can get a list of items added as well^^ —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Dragonkatana (talkcontribs).
Yeah, I know that and I don't like it, kinda takes off the element of surprise so I don't do it! But I think someone said people were on but well, maybe not. It's all probably from the game files indeed. --Sore wa sore, kore wa kore... 21:36, June 21, 2010 (UTC)
Three unspent merit points needed. After the trade (and CS), you will lose the the KS and the merit points. --FFXI-Itazura 02:28, June 22, 2010 (UTC)

Can you still use your abbilities/spells from the meritcategorie @75 even when you do the new LB? Or do you have to reach the highest level again before you can use them? -- Luna1982 07:04, June 23, 2010 (UTC)

You are able to switch freely between limit and experience points upon hitting 75+. Any JA/JTs or bonuses you gather from merits (75 for example) will carry into your levels of 76+. So, for example, at 76 I have all my merit abilities/skills/traits as I did prior to the update; I'm just 76 now. --Blurryhunter 07:50, June 22, 2010 (UTC)
