Do you have to do the whole quest over to get the reward again, or just part of it? - Scuzzelbutt

It's probably a level 20 requirement like some other quests have been changed to. There doesn't seem to be a mission requirement -- just did this today with a friend's mule that had nothing but the initial Cavernous Maw. (You can't repeat the quest, but you can get the grenade back by doing the quest on a mule and then sending it to yourself through the Delivery Box.) --FFXI-Soli 02:58, 25 November 2008 (UTC)

@Birdman1nonly Apparently you haven't been reading the page for the Smart Grenade then, as it currently stands, you can indeed, send it via delivery box to any other player and they can pick it up. (most likely will be patched soon). Can't trade or AH/bazaar it, but Delivery is possible. Tahania

Confirmed level 20 requirement; Tried as level 19, no quest. Changed job and went back as level 20, got the quest. Did nothing else in bastok besides switching jobs. --Kazenone 21:39, 27 March 2009 (UTC)
