RE: You should remember or write down already won missions.

There is no need to remember or write them down. The missions that have been done are listed under the missions tab on the menu in game. --Pinkfae 07:05, 18 August 2006 (EDT)

Red bar?[]

"The Mercenary Rank system is working the same way like the Nations Rank system. With higher Ranks you are able to buy more items with Imperial Standing Points at an Imperial Gate Guard and the Sanction status lasts longer. Instead of spending Crystals at Conquest Overseers and doing missions after getting enough Allegiance reputation (the red bar at your profile) you have to fulfill successful Assaults for your Mercenary reputation."

Does this Red Bar not appear until you've reached a certain rank? Golddess 13:15, 13 January 2007 (EST)

I am SM rank, the highest rank that is currently available, and I still dont have this red bar. Vivix 13:20, 13 January 2007 (EST).

I thing it's compare to the Allegiance reputation system - there is no red bar appears. Germn 21:13, 13.January 2007 (EST).

Abquhbah's Assessments[]

Has anyone recorded what Abquhbuh says about your Mercenary Assessment vs. How many points you have towards your next rank? For instance, if he says "You've finally pulled yourself up to the borderline between worthless pile of pulp and respectable employee" how many points do I have? Seems this would be a great addition to the page if anyone has that info.

See Abquhbah. --Gahoo 17:01, 12 February 2007 (EST)
Unfortunately, something is wrong with that information. A couple weeks ago, I checked my progress and I received the 0-4 point message. I then did 4 repeat assault missions, and afterwards I received the 10-14 point message. I just did two more repeat missions, and now I get the 15-19 point message. I'm S rank, with every mission at previous ranks completed. I've been repeating PSC and PFC level missions. Something with this 5/1/25 system isn't adding up. I'm beginning to think that it's entirely fabricated, and I'm growing increasingly inclined to make some bold edits to the appropriate pages. --VxSote 22:08, 25 March 2007 (EDT)

Maintenance reset?[]

There is no maintenance reset for your Rank-Up Points; they carry forward until you complete the next Promotion Quest.

Can someone elaborate what this mean? (give an example if possible)--VZX 03:37, 25 June 2007 (CDT)

It simply means that your Rank-Up points total doesn't get reset, when there is a server maintenance (unlike NM spawn windows, BCNM records, etc.). For example, you can earn 14 Rank-Up points, before a server maintenance, and still only need to accumulate 11 more, after it.
The article's original author was apparenly concerned about the tally being reset, so he/she added that note. Since this is a wiki, though, ^_^ feel free to reword it in a way you feel makes more sense, or maybe ask whether there is a concensus to remove it, altogether, now. --Alephnot 14:05, 27 June 2007 (CDT)
