The NPC isn't technically there. He shows up in a cs when you check the maw if you have talked to Joachim after having visited Abyssea at least once. --Darkguru 21:39, June 26, 2010 (UTC)
I've gotten my second Abyssea stone actually and still haven't gotten a cs...*Edit* I went back to check with my second stone and got the cs. Do you have to spend nearly an entire stone in there and try to reenter before you get this cs?Yuppiekin 22:09, June 27, 2010 (UTC)
This is the path I took from the very beginning.
1. Port Jeuno zone-in cs.
2. cs with Joachim
3. Visited Abyssea - Tahrongi, got Visitant status and left immediately after.
4. Went back to Port Jeuno and talked to Joachim for another cs.
5. Went back and examined the Cavernous maw in Tahrongi Canyon and got the cs for Megadrile Menace.

Which worm ?
There are 2 NM sand worms currently known . since the questline is known i was wondering which one you have to kill to progress . is it Glavoid or Minhocao . neither page has info indicating they are the target of this quest .==MIKUMARU 16:17, July 17, 2010 (UTC)
It is definitely Glavoid since it's a force pop. The other 2 storyline NMs from the other 2 zones are also force pop. I've killed Minhocao and got nothing from it. --Darkguru 22:15, July 17, 2010 (UTC)
Also, to pop Glavoid, you require 4 key items to pop, one of them being obtained from Minhocao (not 100%) so you'll have to kill them both. Nightshader 22:21, July 19, 2010 (UTC)
