I beleive this quest is Fame Level 4, as I was not able to obtain at Fame 3. Not confirmed 100%

Fame Level Verified

I have verified that the fame lvl required to flag this quest is lvl 3 if you have the pre-requisites met. --Miyuukun 13:11, 19 June 2006 (PDT)

While I do have Fame 3 in Windurst, I was not able to start this quest. I didn't have "Let Sleeping Dogs Lie" open, so I decided to do "Teacher's Pet" which starts with an NPC across the table from the NPC For this quest. It was my first time completing the [repeatable, I know] quest, but after I finished it, I was able to open Making the Grade. My fame hasn't changed, so I'm not sure if first completing that quest had anything to do with it. Sorry if this seems silly to bring up, or something. --Sooraya 19:56, 28 February 2008 (UTC)

Just picked up this quest. He wouldn't give me the quest, when I first tried talking to him on 95 pld, then 21 blm to make sure it wasn't job related. I then proceeded to pick up and complete Teacher's Pet from the npc Moreno-Toeno across the table from Fuepepe, as suggested by Sooraya. Sure enough, after completing Teacher's Pet, Making the Grade opened up for me to start. I know my fame is maxed, so completing Teacher's Pet must also somehow be a prerequisite to start this quest for the BLM spell Aspir. Denimcommando 00:47, November 21, 2011 (UTC)

Job / Level requirement

I couldnt get this quest to activate at first using my BST6/WHM3 ... however i changed job to 55WHM/27BLM and was allowed the quest....i assume its either job or level that u have to have in order to get the quest

Changed the required level that is needed to activate this quest to 10. Tested this my self with my mule.

There is no way a level 10 player would last half way to the room of the wendigo's, let alone in that room itself! We had 3 of us all between levels 25 and 41 and we had difficulty because of all the links. Kresaera

Ever wondered?

Why in God's name would skeletons deep inside some ruins keep test answers?
