Even if crawlers were weaker to water than ice, an unresisted Blizzard III would still do more damage than an unresisted Water III regardless of what the monster is weak or strong to. The element a monster is weak to does not refer to the damage - it refers to their resistance I have seen so many BLM who thought they knew everything about being BLM say things like "Beetles are weak to thunder" because they did more damage using thunder than another spell, but Thunder does the most damage of any spell in the respective tier anyway so that tells you nothing about the monsters resistance. A monster can have a strong resistance to thunder and you can still land an unresisted thunder.--NOiSEA 21:51, 22 January 2009 (UTC)
If these things are weak to dark magic, then how come I keep getting resisted on my Absorb spells? Could someone look into this area a bit more? :/ Zeik

Fire Weather Effect[]
I did some simple testing today while in Zhayolm EXPing on BST. I charmed an Eruca just after fire weather started and noticed that the eruca was getting exactly 15TP/tic. Updated the article to reflect the amount of auto-regain. --Almacien 07:10, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
