It was nothing but a rumor and they did say at the fan fest it doesn't do anything special. the only significance to it is it's desired by an NPC for the Opo-opo crown quest. Tahngarthortalk-contribs 05:32, 11 October 2008 (UTC)

Can confirm : TH procs the same level with the egg in inventory as without, also same with food effect on.
