This NM is easily defeated if you kill him quickly with your alliance (my alliance was all level 75 players) and don't lolly-gag. Have everyone build their TP up to 300% on the surrounding enemies and be sure to stun him when he's about to cast his -ga spells. If you don't take this NM seriously, he will cure himself often enough to start killing off your alliance. If you damage early and fast, he'll be a piece of cake. Ganymede 19:07, 25 August 2007 (CDT)
Just a few things to note about this NM, my alliance was unable to stun him at all. Nothing would stun him, we had BLM's, RDM/DRK's, DRK's and BLU's. Shield bash and weapon bash also did not work. It also seemed that his drinks stacked and would not wear off till he depopped. So if you don't win on the first assault you probably won't win. Has relatively weak defense and went down pretty fast but those instant cast Tornados and fast cast Aeroga III's really hurt. Store tp up, make a few solid Darknesses and MB and he will go down quickly. - Kurrea is enveloped by a fierce wind! -- Enhanced (Aero) Magic Attack Boost? I would also believe this is attack speed up.
- Kurrea's hide grows rigid! -- Defense boost (Potentially Ranged Attacks only)?
- Kurrea's scales shine mysteriously! -- Magic resistance/immmunity?
- The veins in Kurrea's head are popping out! -- Increased attack speed? Also interchangeable with attack speed boost above.
- Kurrea's muscles bulge crazily! -- Attack boost?
- Kurrea's face has turned green... -- Digestion problems, nonbuff, or even debuffs self? Auto-regen off?
