What did you test this with? Cause if you tested it with WAR or /WAR, odds seem pretty good all you saw was Double Attack. I think MNK with a staff or something like that would be a better test. Can anyone confirm this, as I doubt they would just grant the ability with it rather than enhance it. My assumption is that its only effective to use the strap for SAM or /SAM. --Kariudo 21:27, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
Does this also grant the effect of Zanshin for jobs that do not normally have it? IE: WAR/DRG with a Great Axe?

"My assumption is that its only effective to use the strap for SAM or /SAM." Wrong. It's only effective to sell it to suckers who think that this strap is worth using. It's a piece of garbage, zanshin is a trait that only gets worse as your gear gets better, gearing for zanshin in *ANY* scenario is always a mistake. Always. Sell that junk while you still can and get a Pole Grip.--Bsphil 20:28, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
If so (or if not) has anyone tested the percentage?

This would beat the Pole Grip in situations against certain enemies, THF type for example, high evasion triggering the JA.--Maverick 21:38, 11 April 2008 (GMT)

Yeah, but your accuracy on the second swing is just as bad as the second one, so if you're missing half the the to proc Zanshin 10% of the time, those 10% 'saves' will also be missing half the time. Zanshin is nice as a backup trait but doesn't hold a candle to Double Attack. --Ranzear 00:18, 21 March 2009 (UTC)

Eh, if you actually read what Zanshin does you'll see that the second swings receives a +35 accuracy bonus. So no, the second swing will not be just as bad as the first one. And yes, it would be helpful against enemies with high evasion. --GarudasWing 22:22, January 19, 2010 (UTC)

I've never had this proc the whole time I've used it. I'm almost positive it doesn't grant Zanshin, no matter how horrible or how great my accuracy has been / is.
