The shortname in the menu for this item is Karasutengu. The formal, long name is "karasutengu kogake". Visible in 118\109.DAT. I know ordinarily the policy is not to rely on DATs for item info, but considering the item is even posted here to begin with... --Cutriss 02:30, 19 June 2008 (UTC)

Naming Conventions states that articles appear how they appear in inventory, abbreviations expanded. The article is named correctly. --User:Charitwo/Sig 01:18, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
Oops, sorry for that. --Cutriss 14:32, 20 June 2008 (UTC)

I'm just kind of projecting here, but I have a sneaking suspicion that both these and those Orcish Gauntlet things are purchasable at the "Medal" rank in the Altana regions, since it's too early for anyone to have attained this new rank yet and they both have "Campaign" effects. Either way, I want these. Bad. They look really cool and are equippable by so many jobs who could benefit from this Refresh effect.

Item drops from Plucking Wings Offensive Campaign Ops, Refresh is 1mp/tick. --Elfi Wolfe 20:11, 13 October 2008 (UTC)

Because I am unfamiliar with how to add this, I'll place it here in the talk page until I finish boning up on how to do this. This would probably fall under Historical Background. Karasu-tengu is japanese for crow-like monster spirit (see: wiki reference ) and often the ones in charge of mountains (gods) are found wearing Buddhist dress and are more humanoid in shape that animal. Kogake are the feet parts of Samuari armor, namely the kind that splits the big toe off from the others. So these boots translate roughly to shoes of the crow spirit/god. -- Tannlore 21:22, 23 March 2009 (UTC)
