Can anyone confirm this: I think I found it out a while back that it isn't random if she accepts the stone or not. After completing the quest one time if you throw the next Smooth Stone away that you get she'll accept the one you get after that (so she'll accept every even drop) -- Derriensylph 19:42, 6 December 2007 (UTC)

Crossed out the line about not accepting stones at hero fame. I've had hero fame for years and repeated this quest many times since then, and I did it again just a few minutes before this post to be 100% sure before I crossed it out. My guess is that the person neglected to talk to her first before attempting to trade the stone. Quedari 05:56, May 16, 2010 (UTC)
