Does the stun move (violent flourish) from a Dnc work as well against Chandelier? Cemalidor 08:45, 21 April 2009 (UTC)
- I would think so, since I havent seen him resist any statuses thus far but yet to test Violent Flourish--Josiahkf 09:19, 21 April 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, as long as he's not built up any stun resistance. Works really well with a Stutter Step or two on it. --Kasandaro3:57, 8 August 2009 (UTC)
Gates[]
The wording of the article makes it sound as if you can use the past maw in Sauromugue to circumvent the Banishing Gate. However, 3 lines later it clearly states that zoning will reset incense placement. Can someone clarify this up? Can you do all the incense except for the bomb and go around to pop him later? - I added the part about the maw before going on with this quest, had to postpone it. Seems like I didn't read it all that thoroughly. Happens sometimes while multi-tasking haha... It would indeed seem like that one does have to go thru since "zoning" is not allowed. /sigh
Anyhoo, I removed my edit about it. Sorry for the confusion. Sore wa sore, kore wa kore... 21:27, January 16, 2010 (UTC)
Refighting[]
If you are helping somone do this fight, they can repop him for you and let you lot the second coal. Saves some bother if you are planning on levelling THF. --Gibgezr 18:23, August 8, 2011 (UTC)
Ordelle's Portion[]
I just confirmed that the Lv80+ Targe Beetles DON'T aggro. I fell down that hole leading to their spawn location with a MNK86/WHM43 and walked around one of them. It didn't aggro me at all despite being a decent challenge. So basically, there's no need to use Invisible before falling down the hole leading to Targe Beetles. --LordChocoSlime 16:39, October 28, 2011 (UTC)
