I figured I'd post some data in case anyone was curious about the set bonus. I cast Aero on Lv0 monsters in a starter area. I had 99+27 INT and a total of 62 MAB for this round of tests. Aero has a base of 95 with 99+27 INT on these monsters. I recorded the MP conserved on each cast.

Damage MP Conserved
153 0%
172 6.25%
191 12.50%
248 31.25%
267 37.50%
286 43.75%
306 50.00%

This shows that, as the page states, the damage increase is proportional to double the ratio of MP conserved. For example, at 31.25% MP conserved [[95*1.62](1+2*.3125)]= [153*1.625] = 248. The square brackets indicate that one should round down. --Iresire 02:38, March 29, 2011 (UTC)

Proc Details[]

After a lot of testing, I would have to say I notice it procs at about the same rate of ~20% (out of Conserve MP procs) regardless of wearing 3, 4, or all 5 pieces. I never saw it proc wearing only 2 pieces, but maybe I gave up too early testing with only 2 and not seeing anything. With a base Conserve MP of 25%, and say a proc rate of the set at 20%, that would give an overall proc rate of about 5% of all spells. With an average damage increase of 56.25% per proc, this set increases damage by about 2.8125% overall. Pretty average. If I'm right about only needing 3/5 (and 4/5 and 5/5 giving no additional benefit), then 2 slots could be substituted out for better pieces. I'm not exactly sure there even are better pieces (also depends on play preference e.g., fast cast or refresh). Atma_of_the_Fetching_Footpad seems like a good synergy with this set, although without actual numbers for that atma, it's hard to say if it's worth giving up something like 50 MAB. Probably not, unless you like seeing big numbers (randomly) more often. Having a high Conserve MP rate isn't necessarily a bad thing either, if you want to last longer before resting. --Vulturelainen 10:46, August 10, 2011 (UTC)
