Two of these drop from the Gigas near where Pallas pops in Vunkerl Inlet. I managed to desynthed the second and obtain 2 Iron Ingots.
I assume all helm-ed Gigas in Vunkerl Inlet drops the Gigas Helm. I have 68+2 Smithing and I believe I am near, above or below the level needed to desynth this.
More verification will be needed though to find all HQ items and NQ item, as well as capped Smithing level.

Was too low to try to desnyth at 44 Smithing 20 Goldsmithing.

Too low at 48 smithing +3 advanced image support, and all my other crafts are in the 50-60 range, so it's not a sub-craft problem. That means this is between 66 and 75 Smithing. --Elwynn 00:09, May 28, 2010 (UTC)
Have tried multiple times with Smithing 56. I've got NQ, HQ1, and HQ3. No Skillups, and very rare at succeeding. Took me 10+ tries on more than 1 occasion to get anything. I wondered if there might be a Goldsmithing sub for this, mine is 28.
Too low to attempt at 53.3, page states 54+. Once I hit 54 I will try again, and if I can attempt it, I will change this to read 64. --Mnakal 20:58, November 13, 2011 (UTC)
