5 merits increases the chance of procing TH+ by 100% (effectively doubling the chance of proc). It does not give a 100% proc rate... I'm not sure why this is so hard to understand.

Revision as of 03:51, 4 April 2012

I did a little test on Feint today.

With +17 ACC and 81 DEX a Sprinkler conned neutral evasion to me. Taking off 3 DEX, bringing my total DEX to 78, changed it to high evasion. We know that if a monster has at least 30 evasion over your accuracy it will con HE. If your ACC is at least 10 over its evasion it will con LE.

Upon using Feint it went from HE to LE, thus a 40 point difference. Additionally, I removed 17 ACC and it was still LE.

Update, 4-17-08

I don't know anyone who's done more extensive feint testing than myself, even though my own tests were highly inconclusive. You can see the test itself, in fair detail, in this thread.

  • I haven't seen any source that says that feint is -50%. That seems completely made up, so I removed it.
  • Added that it wasn't known if feint is induced -evasion or -%evasion.
  • Added that the effect's potency decreases over its lifespan (shown in the test above).

Weaponskill and Feint

I tested this earlier, and it doesn't get applied on a WS. Buff with Feint, fire WS, and the icon stays on until your next regular melee hit. --Rry 21:08, 20 April 2009 (UTC)
