Hydra[]
Both the Drain and Aspir pages have the "Hydra exception" note listed on their pages and have for the course of several weeks. Why was the note added to the Drain II page reverted? --Mitsukai-Hawke 23:26, 15 September 2007 (CDT)

The text of the first line is reserved on how it displays it on the help text line (description of the spell). If the hydra case is true then it should be listed as additional notes instead. --Wayka †Talk† 01:55, 10 October 2007 (UTC)
INT and Magic Attack Bonus have no effect on Drain/Aspir[]
Was this meant to mean INT and MAB don't affect how much it drains or the spells Accuracy? I find this hard to believe either way because that would mean that drain works off of a stat besides INT, or drain doesn't work off of a stat. While I'm sure that Dark Magic Skill has a lot to do with how much drain hits for and the spells accuracy, i highly doubt that Dark Magic Skill is all it is calculated off of. Speculation, Away![]
So, with the new level cap raising to 99, I wonder if DRK/SCH could use Manifestation with Drain II to get a crapton of hp? --BobTheGreat 10:39, March 5, 2010 (UTC).
It works with Drain. I'd be willing to wager you'll only get the max HP boost for its effect to any one of the targets and not all of them combined. Then again, given how dangerous AoE drain is, maybe it will work. Time tell. Tahngarthortalk-contribs 00:18, June 21, 2010 (UTC)
