I think this page would be a lot more helpful if it listed what the item actually does. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Yuari (talkcontribs).

In the "Other uses" section, it says the following: Effect on chocobo:: Refills energy to full. --Wayka †Talk† 05:24, 14 June 2007 (CDT)

I used a chocolixir today on day 51 to help me get "Gallop" and "Cantor" and nothing happened. I called a GM (yeah, I know it's a lame thing to call a GM for, but i'm pissed! I earned that chocolixir racing!) and he said:

[GM]Kikandross>> I see, I'm sorry to inform you but it helps refill the energy, but also it is not going to work all like
[GM]Kikandross>> everyone expects.
[GM]Kikandross>> Some times it will do something major the another time nothing.
[GM]Kikandross>> Everything is working as intended.

This is an interesting tidbit, and I would warn people about using them, now. I should also note my chocobo was "completely full" at the time, as I read somewhere this could affect it, although I don't understand how. According to the GM it looks like it has a more random effect.

I'd appreciate if anyone else could confirm anything about this.

Same thing happened to me once. My chocobo was "completely full" at that time too. I've used chocolixirs a couple of times after that incident, always making sure that my chocobo is NOT "completely full" when I feed him the chocolixir and it worked just like what it is supposed to. So i guess feeding a chocobo anything when it is "completely full" has no effect whatsoever. --Avrenia 04:47, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
