Anyone know how much this increases crit dmg? I can see this being a VERY nice addition to my Subduer on my DRK. Sadly I can't test this personally because my account is on hold for certain billing reasons >_>;; Some testing done with this grip would be nice. --Nicknick 03:06, 13 June 2008 (UTC)

Depends on where you look, on Alla, the WAR forum says it's a +10% increase in damage, the DRG forum says it's a flat +10 points of damage, the DRK fourm says it is a +% increase but it is less then 10% someone even suggested that it may be a pdif increase on crits rather then a straight up damage increase.--Kaiselius 04:37, 19 October 2008 (UTC)

using subduer /thf on drk crit hits WITH OUT grip hit between 295-310, and with the grip 315-330

Tested with Perdu Voulge (constantly resetting TP to hold latent effect), 115 STR, on level -1 mobs outside Windurst. Results:

No Grip:

 Melee Crits
     339: 1
     343: 1

     363: 2
     364: 1
     366: 1

Average: 360.00

~3.4% increase in damage over averages, ~3.4% increase in damage over max critials. It's not a static increase, further evidence of this is shown here:

In short, this grip is absolute trash. --Bsphil 06:27, 17 December 2008 (UTC)

Has there been some new data to suggest that the damage increase for this grip is 10%? --Jaxen 09:11, 13 April 2009 (UTC)

No, there hasn't. Spoiler alert: If you're going to change info presented in wiki and backed by testing results, you have to post YOUR OWN DATA that confirms your results and show why the current data is inaccurate. --Bsphil 18:01, 2 May 2009 (UTC)

wonder where it is...[]

Seems that maybe SE didn't add it in this update because it's crazy to think that someone wouldn't have found it by now. /cry. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Laciant (talkcontribs).

Perhaps it drops off of Pandemonium Warden. This is my hypothesis because all the elemental grips are dropped off of ZNMs and this grip was released around the same time. Zer02325 21:35, 3 September 2008 (UTC)

Not a Warden drop. It's a possible reward from 1 of 2 things. "The Blood-Bathed Crown" or "Splitting Heirs" Several have begun popping up on my server and Warden has not even been attempted, let alone beaten, since the update. My personal theory is "Splitting Heirs" since that was released with the last patch, but because of the difficulty in obtaining that ops, it had not been attempted until the Campaign Battle adjustments of the most recent update.

Testing with DRK75/Sam & Tredecim Scythe in Xarcabard on Demons by the castle[]

Went Casket hunting, and figured I'd kill two birds with one stone.

set of 25 on Demon Wizards, Pawns, Knights and the occassional Eye, which were all pretty close in level/strength etc.

Testing on East Ronfaure mobs on RNG[]

Non-crit ranged attack: 522.

Crit ranged attack with Brave Grip: 922

When attack is capped ranged attacks always do the same amount of damage and crits always do damage x1.25, so:

522 * 1.25 = 645

645 * 1.43 (Dead Aim + Brave Grip) = 922.35.

Increases critical hit damage by 3%, not 3.5%.
