What I've noticed is that most sheep spawns can have a wolf spawn at night...but not vice versa. So if you really need wolves, slaughter all the sheep you can find, not just a few specific ones. --Teykos 04:53, December 1, 2009 (UTC)

Soloing, I could only get 4 wolves to pop in South Gustaberg during their time slot (20:00-4:00). Also, has anyone actually gotten the Dog Collar to drop off Black Hound in South Gustaberg?--Jetrost 00:02, February 19, 2011 (UTC)

 • Wolf Hide 1 / 15 (6.7%)
 • Dog Collar 0 / 15 (< 6.7%).

Does not have to be full moon to spawn. several spawned on Waxing Gibbous (74%) in south gustaberg on vomp hill.

I Agree with last post, I have been camping on Vomp Hill with New Moon (5%) and had many Black Wolfs spawn.

I also agree about not having to be full moon. Also it does not have to be darksday either. They popped while I was camping Carnero on Iceday Waxing Gibbous (67%). I am editing the main page to reflect this... -Damonmensch 15:04, 11 August 2009 (UTC)
